Tomorrow is Earth Day and we are facing one of the biggest challenges of our time: the climate crisis. We are all affected and we must act now to prevent the worst effects. It's time for us to get together and look for further solutions.
We must achieve the ambitious climate goals that limit global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius. At Olmatic, we lead the way as an active company and will continue to improve energy efficiency for our customers, accelerate the use of renewable energy and continue to reduce dependence on fossil fuels. That's our promise!
In industry in particular there are a number of measures that can be taken to stop wasting energy. I therefore address these lines to our politicians. Sophisticated guidelines and regulations should finally be issued that oblige companies to take the right and necessary energy efficiency measures. In addition, far-reaching benefits should also be created for companies willing to tackle such measures and think one step ahead. I'm sure that in the long term, politics can create a number of incentives to encourage companies to fight the climate crisis in all its facets.
I ask you to take the climate crisis seriously and do everything in your power to fight it. We must act now to secure the future of our world. So that we can create a future worth living for everyone.
